La Belle Époque
Fondamenta, 2016

The Belle Époque presents works inspired by Marcel Proust: Saint-Saëns' first Sonata for Violin and Piano is one of the models for Vinteuil's Sonata.
It also highlights Gustave Samazeuilh, pianist, composer, and musicologist (1877-1967), with three important aspects of his work: piano music, chamber music, and melodies. The mosaic of works presented paints a charming, brilliant, and poetic picture of works, most of which are still rarely recorded.
In partnership with the Palazzetto Bru Zane.
With Marianne Piketty (violin) and Magali Léger (soprano)
